Besides TYLER FARADAY, we also perform as a coverband. We play every Monday at Navegadoors, (Lisbon). But we play as well on private events and parties, clubs and restaurants. The complete quartet, which is the fullest experience, is composed by Rogério Pitomba on the drums, Ozeas Miranda on the bass and Claudio Andrade on the keys. All possible combinations include solo, duo, power trio or quartet. The styles flows between New-Soul, R&B, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Funk, Soul or Pop.
Shows are around 2-3 hours depending on style requirements. English-American, Brazilian and also some Spanish music are in our repertoire. An example about the artists we cover could be Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Elvis Presley, Tom Jobim, Chet Baker, Al Green, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Sade or Justin Timberlake. Rogério Pitomba. Drummer, Brazilian born in Natal.
Is known for his versatility and unique style of playing. A musician since his adolescence, his musical trajectory changed after studying with drummers Kiko Freitas and Edu Ribeiro, where he discovered the pleasure of Brazilian music and jazz, and went to research these styles in a deeper way.
Among drum contests that he featured, was specially important Batuka Brasil! 2013, Brazil's biggest drum festival, where he got the 1st place. Already in 2016 participated in the 8th Festival de Bateria e Percussão de Lavra (PT) where he also got the 1st place.
In his career he has participated in national and international festivals such as Montreuz Jazz (Switzerland), SXSW (Texas / USA), Jurerê Jazz (SC / Brazil), Fest Bossa & Jazz (RN / Brazil).
Currently Pitomba accompanies several artists, is a drum teacher, minister workshops, and, in addition to making recordings with national and international musicians, brings in his musical baggage his two original instrumental CDs: "Hasta la cores", released in 2014, and "Cacho maduro", fruit of his musical maturation, recorded live and released in 2016.
In 2018, He moved to Lisbon PT to find new musical forms and projects.
Ozeas Miranda. Bass player, Brazilian born in Rio de Janeiro.
"Live the dream that music gives you!" With that phrase from "Grooveland", we can define Ozeas Miranda.
Born in São Gonçalo, he acquired his taste for music from an early age, observing his father as the closest example, playing guitar and bass. At the age of 11, he began to learn the first notes and chords on the guitar, following a path of persistence that led him to meet and study with the musician and bassist Ramon Torres.
Recognized as a musical revelation by the instrumental music project "Groove Do São" at the age of 17, he began to attract the looks of important names in the instrumental scene such as Zé Canuto or Claudio Felix, who made it possible to create ties of admiration and friendship with the one and only Arthur Maia, which is his greatest inspiration until today.
Nowadays he is seeking to solidify his international career, always with good doses of "Brazilianness" on his interpretation.
In 2019, he moved to Lisbon PT to find new musical forms and projects.
Cláudio Andrade. Keyboard player, Brazilian born in Sao Paulo.
Born in 1978 in Rio de Janeiro, he began studying music at the age of 7 and trained in folk piano (with Tomás Improta) and scholar (with renowned international concertist, Licia Lucas). By the age of fourteen, he had been acting professionally. Later, he completed the course of functional harmony of Musiarte (RJ) and joined the course of composition and regency of Uni-Rio (Brazil).
Composer and arranger, he played and recorded in several musical projects, film tracks, Cd's, DVD's, with great Brazilian and international music artists such as Gilberto Gil, Milton Nascimento, Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Jorge Benjor, Jorge Mautner, Seu Jorge, Arthur Maia, Arturo Sandoval or Laura Pausini among many others.
Since 1998 he has been a member of Gilberto Gil's band, participating in different projects. Winner of the 44th Grammy Awards, Best World Music Album "Gil & Milton" (2001) / 3rd Latin Grammy Award, Best Regional Music Album or Brazilian Roots, "São João Vivo" (2002), 9th Latin Grammy. Best Composer Album. And performing in the most important music festivals around the world; Montreux (Switzerland), North Sea (Holland), Jazz a Vienne (France), Heineken Beat (China), Montreal (Canada), Pori jazz (Finland), to name a few. And also in the main stages and theaters, such as Hollywood Bowl (Los Angeles), Nokia Theater Times Square (New York), Olympia (Paris) among others.
In 2007 he also joined the band (singer/actor) Seu Jorge, participating in different projects, winner of the Latin Grammy, Best Brazilian Contemporary Pop Album, "Músicas para Churrasco Vol. 1 ao Vivo" (2013).
